No, the polar fleece is sewn in throughout, hood included. It's built as one warm, waterproof layer.
Will it keep me warm in the cold?
Yes, the full fleece lining is there for cold, wet conditions. This is the lined Hurricane, not a summer shell.
Is it waterproof or just water-resistant?
Waterproof. The outer is 420D High-Tenacity Nylon 66, polyurethane-coated, over a coated 210D Nylon 6 inner layer.
